At least in the north part of the country, like here in Michigan. This is the weather until at least March.

It’s balls cold for Alabama when I wake up to 19 degrees this early in the season. But it’s all relative — when a week earlier, lows were in the 50s and 60s, it feels a lot harsher.

Varies widely...we’re about 400 miles from north to south. I’m in the northern half and I usually compare notes with my folks in Baltimore. They’re usually only about 5-7 degrees cooler than us. But we’re still a couple hundred miles south of where the snow falls much (Nashville and northward). We’re right at the southern tip of the path where Canadian airmasses often reach. But most of the time, overnight lows are around freezing, daytime around 50. Which is beautiful.
A couple years ago, it didn’t reach 32 for almost 3 weeks. That was some kind of record.

I’ve got kitty litter, non perishable food, spare clothes and boots and a -15 degree sleeping bag and pillow in my trunk. I will also probably order road flares and put the shovel back in my car soon. I drive a open diff Crown Vic in Michigan

You might want to get that checked out. I don’t think they’re supposed to be cold. :/

Actually, they’re one of the coldest parts of the body, That’s why the hug up when cold and hang low when warm.

This morning brushing off my truck the wind made my eyes sweat. The cold then made the eye sweat freeze to my cheeks. Fuck the wind.
